What’s new
Dr. Landlord is being actively rebuilt. This is a running list of what’s changed, in plain language.
AddedInvite codes for signups
Dr. Landlord is still in private beta, so creating a new account now requires an invite code. If you already have an account, nothing changes.
FixedHomepage no longer asks you to log in
Visiting the public homepage with an old, expired login on your device could send you straight to a login screen, making the page look like it required an account. The homepage now stays public no matter what.
ImprovedRefreshed login and signup pages
New warm background to match the rest of the site, and a simpler side panel with just the logo.
ImprovedVisual refresh across the app
New typography, tighter corners, and a calmer, more consistent color system across the dashboard and marketing site.
FixedTheme menu overflowing on mobile
The light/dark/system toggle no longer runs off the left edge of the screen on narrow phones.
AddedLight, dark, and system theme toggle
The marketing site now follows your system's light/dark preference, or you can set it explicitly.
AddedPublic marketing site
A real home, about, and contact page, with the full breakdown of what's included on every plan.
ImprovedPer-tier pricing and property caps
Plans are now clearly scoped by property count and team size, with Reports and Alerts unlocking at Gold.
AddedTenants can submit maintenance tickets themselves
Including by email -- a message to your ticket inbox address creates a ticket automatically.
AddedAI-assisted ticket triage and document review
New maintenance tickets get an automatic urgency read the moment they're submitted, and leases or insurance documents get a plain-English summary on import.
AddedCSV bulk import for tenants and properties
Bring in an existing spreadsheet instead of adding everything one at a time.
FixedData tables on mobile
Tables now stack into cards on narrow screens instead of forcing the whole page to scroll sideways.
