Why do tenants pay the fee?
It keeps your monthly cost low and your rent whole. Tenants see the exact fee before they pay, and a bank transfer is the cheaper way to pay.
What if a tenant would rather not pay a fee?
Nothing forces them. They can pay you another way, such as a check or in person, and you can record that payment yourself at no cost.
Can I cover the fee for my tenants?
Yes. One setting lets you cover the bank transfer fee, so tenants pay nothing by bank. It comes out of your payout instead, and card payments still carry the card fee.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own bank account through Stripe. Payments by bank transfer take a few business days to clear, and a card payment is confirmed right away.
What happens after the free month?
Subscribe to keep tenant payments on. Nothing is deleted if you wait, but online payments pause until the plan is active.
